Also referred to as "pumping," "slabjacking," or "pressure grouting," this service is used to "pump up" sunken concrete slabs of any size. This method involves drilling a few small holes (1" in diameter) vertically through the sunken concrete. A hydraulic pump then forces our sand/clay/silt grout through the hole at a pressure of 2,000 pounds per square inch. This pressure forces the concrete slab to rise in that area.  When all of the low areas have been raised, the holes are stuffed with a styrofoam plug. The top of the hole is then patched with a quick-drying cement and left to dry. The final result is a level concrete area, free from trip hazards, water pooling, and drainage problems.

The manual lowering of concrete is an exclusive concrete leveling service of the Green Concrete Leveling Company. This service applies to concrete (or sandstone) slabs that need to be lowered in order to match the surrounding concrete. This method involves using specialized leverage tools to pry up on the concrete and remove the tree roots or ground material that is forcing the slab out of place. The concrete is then lowered back into the correct position and matches the surrounding surface. 

Manual raising of concrete is most often employed on slabs that should not be drilled (sandstone, stamped concrete, etc.). The Green Concrete Leveling Company is able to manually level blocks that are up to 10x10 feet. This technique involves the same manual lifting of the slab, but instead of removing material from under the slab, a sand/gravel mixture is manually inserted underneath.
